Finding any old photo off Google Images and using it on your websites or publications is just asking for trouble.

Websites such as Getty Images  crawl the internet using a special piece of software from PicScout that automatically searches the Internet for photo’s they own or license then they will not only ask you to take the images down, but go after you for damages – sometimes asking 10 – 20x times as much as you would have normally paid. To combat this, only pay for and obtain a license to use stock photography, take photos yourself and get people in them permission or use free images that use the Creative Commons Zero license, such as Pexels.com
